Coca-Cola Germany Records Increase in Sales: Energy Drinks as a Growth Engine
Coca-Cola Booms with Power: Classics excite, but in Germany, energy and sports drinks are causing a sensation.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, the company responsible for the bottling, sale, and distribution of beverages, recorded strong growth in energy drinks and sports drinks in Germany last year. In particular, the group saw double-digit growth in both sales and volume for Powerade, Fuze Tea, and Monster.
The company announced this on Friday. The increased revenue can also be attributed to the higher sales prices that Coca-Cola raised for the first time in 2022 and again in 2023. This decision was justified by the increased costs in the supply chain. Overall, Coca-Cola was able to increase its revenue in Germany by an impressive 12.5 percent, although the exact value was not disclosed due to the lack of absolute numbers.
According to the market research company NIQ, Coca-Cola achieved the largest increase in the food retail sector last year. In the overall market, soft drinks also saw a growth of 8.5 percent. Nevertheless, the volume decreased by 1.9 percent compared to the previous year.
On the other hand, sports drinks recorded the largest growth at an impressive rate of 39.3 percent in a relatively small segment. In Germany, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners claims to be the largest beverage company and employs around 6,500 people.
At the New York Stock Exchange, Coca-Cola's stock showed a slight decrease of 0.04 percent to $61.13 during Friday trading. Despite the strong growth in Germany, the company's share price is only marginally affected.
Coca-Cola Remains Confident and Banks on Further Growth in the German Market. By Expanding Their Range to Include Energy Drinks and Sports Beverages, the Company Has Already Achieved Convincing Results in a Short Time. Interest in the New Products Remains High, and Coca-Cola Hopes for a Positive Trend in the Coming Years.
