According to reports, Moncler is considering an acquisition of Burberry; LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault might be involved.

The stock of the British luxury fashion house Burberry rose by 4 percent to 853 pence on Monday after reports emerged about a possible takeover bid by Moncler. The company, whose market value is around 3.05 billion pounds, has lost 40 percent of its value since the beginning of the year and is currently undergoing changes.
The independent Parisian publication "Miss Tweed", specializing in fashion and luxury goods, reports that Moncler might be interested in acquiring Burberry. Additionally, there is speculation that billionaire and LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault might be behind this potential deal. In September, LVMH announced plans to invest in Moncler and secure a seat on the board of directors.
Both Moncler and Burberry declined to comment. Moncler stated: "Moncler does not comment on baseless rumors." Burberry also referred to speculation and did not provide any comment.
