DT Midstream expands with billion-dollar pipeline deal

DT Midstream has taken a significant step to strengthen its position in the energy market. The company announced its acquisition of three natural gas pipelines from Oneok for an impressive 1.2 billion US dollars. The facilities span an impressive length of 2,090 kilometers and offer a total capacity of over 3.7 billion cubic feet per day. These pipelines traverse a total of seven states in the Midwest of the USA, making them an essential component of the region's energy supply. Specifically, DT Midstream will acquire 100% operational ownership of the pipelines Guardian, Midwestern Gas Transmission, and Viking Gas Transmission. This strategic purchase underscores DT Midstream's commitment to further strengthening its market presence by expanding its infrastructure portfolio.
