The US leading index is expanding: In addition to the online broker Robinhood, AppLovin and EMCOR Group are also joining the ranks of the 500 largest publicly listed US companies.

New Members in the Leading Index
Since Monday, Robinhood, AppLovin, and EMCOR Group officially count among the S&P 500.
Three must go
MarketAxess, Caesars Entertainment, and the solar company Enphase Energy had to make way. Their stocks were removed from the index after they lost weight.
Significance for Investors
Rising stars in the S&P 500 often benefit from additional demand by institutional investors tracking the index. For Robinhood and AppLovin, this means not only prestige but also fresh capital from ETFs and funds.
