Atos and Leonardo Lead Major EU Cybersecurity Project

In an ambitious move to strengthen the security architecture of the European Union, Atos, in partnership with Leonardo, has secured a leadership role in a major consortium. The goal is to provide comprehensive cybersecurity services for the EU institutions. The Paris-based company announced that it has received a contract valued at up to a substantial 326 million euros. Under this agreement, Atos will be responsible for protecting the cloud and information systems of the EU institutions for a period of up to 48 months. Significantly, this contract represents an important step in addressing the ever-growing cyber threats and equipping the EU institutions with state-of-the-art security solutions. One euro currently equals 1.1795 US dollars.
